More nice words... These from the folks at York Harbor Inn

As I posted previously ...I had fun at The York Harbor Inn a few weeks back and now they've sent me this to say everyone else did to...read on

"As the featured performer for the York Harbor Inn’s  inaugural “Lobster Lover’s Weekend”, TTTom Clark brought energy and enthusiasm to a sold out room!  In fact we had to add extra chairs and still we had a standing room only crowd!

After a weekend full of Lobster Themed Menu items, our audience of lodging guests and locals were hungry for only one thing--laughter, and TTTom surely provided that!
His uncanny ability to read his audience allowed them to be a part of the show!   His impersonations, his improvisation and his 2 minute version of the Wizard of Oz had our guests wanting more!
And they got more! Tom’s alter-ego C.L. Thomas brought a warm, down-home Maine humor to the room, just what we were looking for to enhance the theme of the weekend for our guests.
 It was a perfect dessert for a very full audience!

We hope to have TTTom and C.L. back to the York Harbor Inn…next time we are going to need a bigger room!

Entertained at a great Christmas Party in Falmouth Me.

The employees of Senior Living Communities, The Highlands, Highland Green and Oceanview at Falmouth all came to their Holiday party for a laughing good time at The Falmouth Country Club and C.L.Thomas and I did what we do best..and had ALOT of fun.
Thanks to all the staff, especially Debbie Washburn for bringing it all together!

Matinee and Evening shows for C.L.and TTTom...a First!

C.L.Thomas and I had a busy Sat with an afternoon show for the great folks at Kittery Estates as Kerrie Furbish and her staff had me back to help celebrate their 5 year Anniversary with a full house of smiling seniors who I always love to entertain. You never know what your gonna get..,example: one gentleman keep raising and waving his hand..finally I felt I had to ask him if he had a question or needed to speak ...his reply.."GOTTA PEE!"...brought the house down as he simply walked out of the room!!...Love it!
Then that night off to do another C.L. Show for the folks at The York Harbor Inn, York Me. for their "Lobster Lover's Weekend! The show sold out with SRO and wow what a great crowd...hats off to Paul and ALL the staff there, a great group of professionals. Stop by to see all the amazing things that Chef Bonsey can do with a lobster! Tell em C.L.Thomas sent ya...and look for when C.L.will be there again.
Yup... They want us back!!

Boston Comic Legend Mike Donovan gives C.L.Thomas CD a BIG Thumbs Up!

My friend and comic mentor Mike Donovan was kind enough to pen these words after listening to my C.L.Thomas CD.."How To Be a Better Tourist"...Mike's a guy who's been called "a comic's comic" He's been on The A list of Boston's comedy scene since the beginning..A National Act who has been an influence on most every comic out of Boston [including myself]

  It's better than great. I loved it. Perfectly done. Touching, subtle

hilarious, a total case of less is more. By not trying too hard

you put forth a supreme effort. One of the best things I ever

heard. I hope it lasts a thousand years. The Storrow Drive

thing I couldn't hear it all I was laughing so hard. The opening

53 seconds of the CD is beautiful. You can't afford to be a gentle man

in the clubs, but on a studio CD, you can be as nice as you want to be, as

a lot of us wish we could be, but the rough club scene won't us.

Wonderful pacing. Just tremendous. Stirring. How I love excellence!

Made my day. Fuckin great.

Sucessful summer is SOOO many ways!

Where to start? First big thanks to the great staff at The Colony Hotel!
Derick and his crew down in The Marine Room helped me produce a great show throughout the summer and were a big part of the laughs and positive feedback I got from all the happy guests!

Next my fans, old and new...I was hoping the change of venue would help attendance of the shows...but had NO idea how many old friends aka "Locals" would show up!
Thanks to all of you... and love having all the new fans showing support with words of encouragement after the shows...seeing the families and vacationers enjoying both C.L. and TTTom keeps me going...and speaking of going....
YES I will be back...The Colony management was nice enough to confirm they would like me to comeback next season!!!!

Saving the Best for Last...Almost!

 

Near the end of our Summer Season of shows at the Colony Hotel, Kennebunkport and last night's show was one of the best!

People from all over ... Mass [shout out to my #1 fan from Worcester and his wife] NJ, NY [upstate, they are VERY specific to say that!] NH and neighbors from the north Montreal!...plus a special guest, a doggy from NJ who was very well behaved, only heckled me twice!!! The Colony is a dog friendly Hotel!

Also more family dropped by, niece Jenny and her Man Kevin. also nephew Donny. All locals who gave C.L the thumbs up as the real deal!.

We all had a great time!

Love to go out with a bang next week for the last show...Looking for a FULL HOUSE!

Most Diverse Crowd Yet at The Colony Hotel C.L.Thomas Shows

Most of the Northeast was represented as fans from Vt. NJ  NY [both upstate and "da Bronx"]  Mass. and of course Maine all showed up to make for a great, almost full house, last night for C.L.Thomas and me! Family from "Main St". Boston as well as Mom and Daughter from Burlington Vt.  made for a fun family show!

What a great crowd, what a fun show! The summer is off to a great start and big thank you's to the Management and Staff at The Colony Hotel Kennebunkport. If last nights show is any indication I'm in for ALOT of fun this summer.  Sure hope I see more of my old fans and lookin forward to making new ones!
