Sorry to be missing the Maine Innkeepers Assoc. Annual meeting!

They say don't mix business with pleasure, but this is one meeting that does both, and does it VERY well. The 93rd Annual Meeting and Conference of the MIA, this year at beautiful Point Lookout Resort and Conference Center in Northport, Me. will be a great one and unfortunately one I have to miss  [yes I do have a note from my doctor as proof but don't worry nothing that serious.]
This organization has been so helpful in both my speaking and entertainment career! Executive Director Greg Dugal, his staff and the entire Board of Directors embodies what it means to be an organization that promotes and includes all of it's industry.
So I just wanted to say I'm thinking and missing  my fellow members and I hope they enjoy the postcard I was able to include in their welcoming bags [thanks to Jennifer.]
Looking forward to hearing from any and all of you to allow me the pleasure of entertaining your guests in the coming year!
Congrats to Greg, Jennifer and the entire staff and board, I'm sure it's going to be a fun and productive meeting. Sorry I'm not there.
 Chat with you soon!

PS If you're down in the York County area and you'd like to see how C.L.Thomas and I entertain guests and locals alike come see us Nov 14 at The York Harbor Inn for a repeat performance at their "Lobster Lovers Weekend" Fri night.... FMI go to www.yorkharborinn.com

PS ...this review just in from Vice President Jon Holmes:
"The Webb Lake Association of Weld, Maine held their annual meeting August 15th and as always, had entertainment after. TTTOM CLARK from Kittery came up to perform for us. WHAT A GREAT SHOW!! TTTom had us all in stitches the entire evening! We have had many entertainers here in Weld but TTTom stole the show. I have talked with many folks since the show and everyone was very pleased with his “acts”. If you are looking for Maine humor at its best, give TTTom a shout. You will NOT be disappointed!!!"—Jon Holmes, V.P. of the WLA!!

This Sat a show for my Town of Kittery Maine...Be There

From Foster's Daily Democrat :

Laugh out loud for a good cause

Monday, May 12, 2014
KITTERY, Maine — Spend an evening laughing it up for a good cause at the STAR Theatre in the Kittery Community Center on May 17 at 8 p.m. This fun-filled evening is a benefit for the Kittery Rotary After Hours and the Kittery Community Center.
This 18+ show is hosted by Tttom Clark and features Dave Rattigan and headliner Bob Seibel. Tickets are $15 for general admission or $20 for table seating and can be purchased at the Kittery Community Center, TD Bank or Hillside Flowers in advance. There will also be a silent auction and cash bar available.
Host Tttom Clark is a Kittery resident and has been called the “Mel Tillis of Stand up Comedy.” Like Mel, his slight stutter disappears when his comedic voices hit the stage. Tom has been in the spotlight for three decades. He’s been a singer, dancer, actor, speaker and writer. Tttom has delighted television audiences nationwide on A&E’s “An Evening at the Improv” and has since launched a career as a TV commercial spokesperson and actor.
Featured comic Dave Rattigan, whose deadpan delivery and quick, dry wit has made him a favorite at clubs, corporate shows, colleges, theaters and fund-raising shows in Boston and New England, opens the night. Described as edgy enough to keep comedy fans engaged, but clean enough to work in front of corporate audiences, Rattigan has performed around the Northeast United States and in Ireland. His CD, “Dave Rattigan: Thinks He’s Funny”, has received airplay on XM-Sirius Satellite Radio and on radio stations around the world. Rattigan has performed on shows with major national comedy and musical acts including Steven Wright, Bob Marley and Jeff Dunham.

Headliner Bob Seibel is one of Boston’s most popular comedians and certainly one of the funniest. To say Bob is a unique act is an understatement. The audience is totally aware, and becomes willingly involved with his presence the moment he steps onto the stage and takes command of their attention. Every routine is greeted with enthusiasm and laughs. His reputation for quick, sustained improvisation is well known throughout the Comedy Clubs in the New England area. It is a guaranteed evening of pure entertainment for any audience young and old willing to take a deep breath and hold onto any fixed object while Bob takes them on a fast paced, non-stop tour of life as seen by one of its most off beat visitors.
For more information, please call the Kittery Community Center at 207-439-3800. The STAR Theatre is located at 120 Rogers Road, Kittery, ME. It is a new 200-person capacity performing arts space located within the Kittery Community Center.
